“Exorior 2018” an outbound leadership program organized by the ‘15 batch of the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering was held on the 1st of March 2018 at the university grounds. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Head of the Department, Dr. S. H. P. Gunawardena, Brigadier Krishantha Gnanaratne, the academic staff, non-academic staff along with the alumni members and undergraduates from the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering family.
“Exorior” was the brain child of Dr. Shantha Egodage who wanted to give the undergraduates of the department an opportunity to build on their leadership skills and guide them to find the hidden leader within themselves. Over the years “Exorior” has grown in scale and quality providing a platform from which the members of the DCPE can enhance their leadership skills and strengthen the bonds within the DCPE community by participating in various team building activities organized throughout the session.
“Exorior 2018” featured the cooperation of the Sri Lankan Army Commando Brigade to organize unique challenges and obstacles which raised the calibre of the event to greater heights
